Welcome to the WIRED Book Club. This month we’ve been reading Factfulness, by Hans Rosling, Ola Rosling and Anna Rosling Rönnlund.
Hans Rosling was a Swedish doctor well known for his TED talks on statistics, who passed away in 2017. Ola Rosling is his son and Anna Rosling Rönnlund is his daughter in law, and they wrote the book together based on their work at the Gapminder Foundation, which is all about using statistics to show the reality of the world.
Here we discuss what we thought of the book, including what’s good about it, the things that could be better and how data changes our world view.
