Tech Trends And The History That Shaped The World.

In this launch selection of podcasts for WhatPod, I’ve included some thoughtful conversation, deep tech and just plain enjoyable audio.

Leading off my selection is a great BBC production “13 Minutes To The Moon” made for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon mission that landed men on the surface of the moon.

Artifical intelligence is set to change everyone world deeply. From business, finance, digital authoring, coding and design – nothing will evade the influence of machine intelligence that can learn, adapt and improve way faster than the human brain. Lex Fridman is an MIT researcher into human-centered AI, deep learning, autonomous vehicles & robotics, and his ‘Artificial Intelligence‘ podcast gets right into the detail of this emerging field.

My old stomping ground of Silicon Valley is not the same as the early days of the 90’s (but where is, right ?) but although he’s a Brit, Danny Fortson of The Times in his ‘Tales Of Silicon Valley‘ podcast gives you an ear on current trends and cultural history.

Wired magazine in the UK have been a vital publisher for tech news for many years and their weekly podcast highlights topical issues in tech in a digestible format for listening on the go.

Lastly, still on the conversational format Beverley Roche of ‘Cyber Security Cafe‘ covers privacy and data topics in an easy to listen interview format, with some great guests.
