Today’s episode is a GaryVee TV Classic. The myth that every business needs a “social cause” or “non-profit objective” to be successful is not true. Just because you aren’t flaunting your charity work as a selling point for your business that doesn’t mean your business will be less successful. It’s a fine line but many businesses use their “social cause” as an excuse to raise their prices and they actually do less in terms of charities than businesses that operate normally. Social causes are great if they are genuine but don’t feel like you need to have one to be successful. Enjoy! Let me know what you thought.
